How it works

The attackers queue in a line on the edge of the box, which stops man-markers picking anyone up until the ball moves. On the taker's signal they scatter — near post, far post, penalty spot, edge — so every marker has to choose in the same half-second. It works against man-marking and is largely wasted against a zonal setup.
